Cashless School

From September 2019 we stopped accepting cash or cheque payments for school meals, after school clubs, breakfast club and school trips. The school is now a cash-free environment. ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.

Every family is issued a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password, for each child; you will be prompted to change these and to keep them safe and secure. If you have more than one child at our school or children at other ParentPay schools, you can create a single account login for all your children.

Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds a payment history for you to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away.
PayPoint payments are recorded by ParentPay and can be seen by logging into your ParentPay account and viewing your payment history online.

Parents who need to continue making payments by cash may do so using the PayPoint network at any local convenience store or supermarket offering PayPoint services.

A ParentPay app is available for most mobile devices.

Private School Fund

Middleton Community Primary School runs a Private School Fund.

This is organised separately from the main school budget and is used to support the school in a wide variety of ways, including the supply of extra resources for our children.
The account is externally audited annually and approved by the Governing Body. The date of the last audit was August 2020. Parents/Carers are welcome to ask to see the audited account in order to promote accountability and transparency within our schools. Please contact Nicola Morris; Senior School Business Assistant, for further information.
