Fish Tales

Join National Geographic Kids and Marine Biologist Isla Keesje Davidson on an epic underwater adventure into the secret language of fish!🐠🪸

Date & Time: 23 May at 17:00 BST

Ticket Cost: Only £5 for the whole family to view on one screen (FREE for Junior Explorer Members!)

Who is the event suitable for? The event is perfect for nature-loving kids aged 7-12 years old (however, there will be colourful video and images of fish in their natural habitat that may be entertaining for younger viewers to look at!)

The event will be held online, a joining link will be shared upon registration.

From the loud splashes of leaping manta rays to the clickety-clack of chatty clownfish, you'll learn:

🐡 How fish talk to each other in their busy underwater habitats

🪼 How they use their senses to send and detect signals!

🐠 How underwater sounds can help us understand the health of our ocean

🌊 What we can all do to help protect the ocean and the creatures that live in it!

Britain is facing its biggest cost of living crisis in decades. Citizens Advice Derbyshire Districts has seen more people coming to them for help with crisis support, energy problems and not having enough money to make ends meet than ever before.

 

As prices rise, people make more and more difficult decisions about what to cut back on and where they need to rely on community support, because they don't have enough to live on. Citizens Advice are on hand and can be contacted by phone, face to face or virtually. They will continue to be available to offer support to those that need it thanks to thier funders.
